BANNA ROAD RACE: The Inaugural Banna 10k Road Race and Fun Run was held on Sunday, 1st August in ideal running conditions.
There was an excellent turn out of 109 participants from all across the County and beyond.
Results: Men's race: 1st place Frank Mangan, Milltown, who also received the Tom O'Riordan Perpetual Trophy, 2nd Mick Rice, Athenry, Co. Galway, 3rd Ross Higgins, Brandonwell, Ardfert.
Ladies race results: 1st Helen White, Co. Meath, 2nd Karen Mc Lysaght, Tralee, 3rd Majella Diskin, Castleisland.
